This year was the 30th
anniversary of Jamboree in the
Hills. Drawing 100,000 fans over
four days to tiny Morristown,
Ohio, about 1 1/2 hours west of
Pittsburgh, Jamboree in the Hills
is one of the biggest and most
prestigious annual country music
events. It's so big it's got its own
post office and an on-site
emergency ward that has
delivered babies. Fans pitch tents
and park campers on the hill
above the amphitheater,
dragging wagons loaded with
their own lawn chairs and beer
through the entry gates. They
don't call it "the Super bowl of
Country Music" for nothing'! It's 4
Fun-Filled Days of Country
Music, in a natural outdoor arena,
featuring Full-Length concerts by
about 30 Country Artists, with
over 200,000 friendly people from
all over the world--young and old,
drinkers and not, couples and
large groups of people.
